I don't get it. There is this 1 Aatxe that will not leave me alone. I can't break aggro with it, even with my speed buff, and the above advice for aggroing graspings.
It just won't work.

I tested both the E/Me and this build. The E/Me is faster but it requires that you pay very close attention to the graspings. You have to know when they have all used their interrupt before you go casting because in the E/Me SS build you don't have Glyph of concentration. So I'd say for inexperienced players this is probably the build to use. It is still somewhat maintenance intensive but not as maintenance intensive as the E/Me earth nuker.

I love the build. it works great. I can get past the grasps and to the smites but I always accidentally aggro the coldfires. Im kinda new to UW farming so I havnt memorized the smite locations and the colfire potrol areas . Cud someone like post a map of the area with the coldfire danger areas and the smite spote marked? I wanna make the most from these runs.

I find a very good (and cheaper) way to test the killing power of a build for the UW is to try it on the Minotaurs right outside of anvil rock on hard mode. If it will kill them, it will definitely kill graspings/smites in one attempt.
For instance, this build doesn't kill them (in one shot)......but it does come extremely close. They have far more health and armor than smites or graspings, deal *slightly* more damage, and have significant self healing, so even "getting close" is more than good enough. If anyone knows a better, faster, more comparable way to test without spending 1k, i'm all ears.

The build works. I ran it today and got 4 ectos. The set of skills that is listed on page one and the attributes listed are perfect. I havent had any problems with the grasps, nightmares, or the aatxes. Great build. Love it!

I started using the build last week and had trouble with the grasps, so I take two monk heros and a SS hero (with enfeeble, insidiuos, vocal minority). Flag them in the corner fartherest away and do as in the video.
Always have flame djinn on when approaching any aaxte as the ones in a fixed spot won't follow. If the wandering one follows you then go back to the spot with the heroes and you can deal with it there.
After it's done, leave the heroes flagged there and go and solo the smites. Nice build, though I don't think armour of earth is needed to solo the smites.

I'm having problems with this build.
The graspings always take me down to about 160hp from about 411. Sometimes the nuke doesn't kill them all too. I'm using the exact build, and optimal equipment.
Also, I just can't run to the smites. I tried 8 times and I got past the first 2 cows, but then I just can't get past the 3rd group right before the smites. They always trap me and take me down even with flame djinn's on..
Really frustrated
I've noticed that the aataxe patrols constantly change. Like they're messing with me.. sometimes the 3rd aataxe on the right stays on top of the stairs, sometimes in the middle, but sometimes it goes up and down. It's weird.. I don't know how people do this so easily. Also with any lag, you're pretty much dead. I lagged a bunch of times trying to get by the first 2 aataxes and bam.

This still works but took me damn long to get along with it. Tried untill I managed to kill smites, but then I kinda stoped. I find it more fun and easier 55/SS

ive been trying this build and ive had a few problems. what are ur base stats without the runes, and what stat does ur head gear give. im only able to get to 16 fire with only 11 earth with the runes u posted. and my other problem is the graspings, i can agro em fine without the aatxes but they start to do damage on me and boom im dead

Firstly I want you to noticed when this build was posted... OVER A YEAR AGO.
Second, the skills that he's using got nerfed during many patches (FDH, Stoneflesh, etc...).
